Summer 2026 ef cohort enrollment opens June 19 〰️

Over 3,000 professionals from around the world have gone through this cohort and are applying this work in real settings every day.

why this works

this is not just another set of strategies

Most approaches focus on what the student is doing.
We focus on why they are doing it.

When you understand the underlying executive function needs, everything changes.

Inside this Cohort, you will learn how to:

  • Identify the root of student challenges

  • Connect behavior to cognitive processing

  • Design interventions that actually transfer beyond your session

This is the shift from reacting to performance and behavior to understanding it.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Phase 1: Root Skills

Learn the Sumpter Executive Function Framework (SEFF)

Target foundational EF skills: perception, attention, verbal and nonverbal working memory, and inhibition

Identify student needs with practical assessment tools

Implement strategies you can use immediately

    (July 17-September 8, 2026)

  • Phase 2: Leaf Skills

Build on foundational executive function skills

Target higher-level skills: cognitive flexibility, self-monitoring, self-correction, self-modulation, initiation, time management, and pacing

Strengthen understanding through revisiting and refining key concepts

Apply strategies to support real-world intervention

    (September 8-November 17, 2026 or self-paced)

  • Phase 3: Flower Skills

Focus on higher-level executive function skills

Target skills: planning, organization, anticipation, analysis, prioritization, balancing demands, and decision-making

Support students in managing complex tasks and competing priorities

Build capacity for independent, strategic thinking

    (November 17, 2026-January 12, 2027 or self-paced)

what members are experiencing

  • “I now have a roadmap for assessment, treatment plans, treatment progression and how to move toward generalization so much faster.”

    Tai McShane Bilingual M.A. CCC-SLP

  • I have been targeting executive functioning difficulties for about 2-3 months using what I learned in the cohort, and 5-6 of one of my student's speech sounds have corrected themselves without targeting them. I am so overwhelmed with joy because this was and is the missing piece for me in speech therapy!!

    Mikayla Plemmons, SLP

  • “The Seeds of Learning Cohort Community changed everything for me. After 16 years… I was feeling like I wasn't making much of a difference… My passion was reignited… it changed my life for the better.”

    Mary Hadley, M.A., CCC-SLP

Who this is for

This is for you if:

  • You work with students with executive function challenges

  • You feel like strategies are not sticking

  • You want deeper understanding, not just more tools

  • You are ready to think differently about behavior and learning

This is NOT for you if:

  • You want quick fixes or to simply check the CE box

  • You’re not open to thinking outside of the box

  • You do not want to reflect or apply what you are learning

HOW ACCESS WORKS

There is no separate registration, no extra steps, and no additional login.

You join the Community through an auto-renewing membership, and you are automatically part of the Cohort. You can stay as long as it’s helpful and cancel anytime.

Inside the community, there are also optional add-on resources if you want to go deeper, but they are not required to fully participate in the Cohort.

  2. That’s it! You’re all set when the Cohort begins.
