Emma Tuleta, M.A., CCC-SLP
Therapy Director
Assistant Clinical Director, Lakewood office
Emma is a graduate of the University of Dayton (Go Flyers!) with a Bachelor’s in Education with a Mild – Moderate Intervention Specialist certification. She attended Cleveland State University following graduation and sat in Anatomy & Physiology of the Speech Mechanism taught by Tera Sumpter.
After obtaining her Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology at the University of Akron, Emma took a job at a private practice where she worked in a variety of settings. Emma spent time working in the outpatient setting, preschool setting, and in the hospital setting. After attending a continuing education opportunity,
Emma again sat in Tera Sumpter’s classroom at the Ohio Speech Language Hearing Association conference in 2019. Since then, Emma has found a real love for executive function therapy and literacy therapy. Her favorite part of this specialty is watching and hearing about the application of tools being used across settings. Emma has recently began teaching about Executive Function alongside Tera Sumpter through Ashland University as an adjunct instructor.
Emma is a brilliant Speech-Language Pathologist who has mastered the ability to problem solve split-second stimulus-response reactions needed to effectively address a child's cognitive processing. She has an innate ability to reach children. We are so lucky to have her at Seeds of Learning.
Outside of therapy, Emma enjoys being outdoors, trying new foods, and spending time with her family, friends, and Great Dane, Eddie.
