Kate LaMantia, M.S., CCC-SLP
Kate completed her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University, where she quickly discovered her love for the research process and collaborating across disciplines to better understand working memory as a cognitive foundation of speech and language development. She earned her graduate degree at Bowling Green State University and transitioned into clinical work in the schools.
When Kate encountered Tera’s work and began weaving executive function intervention techniques into her assessments, therapy sessions, and staff collaboration efforts, something clicked. It ignited her skills in new ways and created real, meaningful growth in her students - becoming a bridge between where she started and who she was becoming, both professionally and personally. She is thrilled to be a part of the Seeds of Learning team where she can fully immerse herself in executive function work, share it with the broader community, and continue exploring areas of interest such as speech motor planning. Kate is passionate about tailoring therapy to fit each client's unique interests and sensory needs.
Outside of the office, Kate enjoys spending time with family, hiking with her dog, training for marathons with long meditative runs in nature, and exploring new cities with her husband.
