Brigid Kimbrell M.A., CCC-SLP
A Clevelander, born and raised, Brigid completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Dayton (Go Flyers!) and had a successful career in market research for several years. Deciding on a change in career, she returned to school and completed her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Cleveland State University (with Tera!) while also becoming a mother to her first two children. Over the past 15 years in the field, Brigid has worked in a variety of settings including skilled nursing, rehabilitation centers, home health, inpatient hospital and finally specializing in pediatrics at a hospital-based outpatient clinic before landing at Seeds of Learning®. Brigid keeps her adult and medical SLP skills sharp with regular PRN roles at area skilled nursing facilities and an area hospital.
Brigid’s favorite aspects of therapy at Seeds of Learning® include building rapport with clients, witnessing how small changes can have a transformative impact, and hearing directly from clients and their families about how the work at Seeds of Learning® has positively impacted their lives. Brigid has been rooting for the Seeds of Learning® practice from the beginning and is delighted to officially be part of this dedicated and amazing team of women!
Outside of therapy, Brigid is busy chauffeuring her three wonderful children to extracurricular activities, relaxing by the pool, playing volleyball year-round, or unwinding with her Sphynx cat, Marshmello, while watching true crime shows.
